Life IS good.
A retired art teacher living in Colorado Springs, Skip composes bits of reality into other meaningful things. He still meets with a group of ex students and teachers to draw and paint, another group to drink coffee and swap lies, has a very small graphics business publishing important stuff for others, does design and woodcarving and still manages to volunteer at a local hospital wellness program as well as NODA (No One Dies Alone) and occasionally takes out the trash. His wife, Cathy, of 45 years supports him in these and many other endeavors, for which he is eternally grateful.
He’s a traveler, a builder, a photographer, a reluctant gardener, a Macintosh • iPhone • iPad nutcase, a reader and friend to many. He is still trying to sell his dragon collection and plan time to restore his Singer.
Oh, and since the last blog, he received another grandchild, Bowen Robert Gilmour, who is featured prominently among the bizillion photos taken of his sister.
